Adair Country Inn ( Bethlehem )
Chosen as one of the top 10 most romantic inns 2005. From the very first time you approach this majestic home, you will easily understand why it has been hosting guests for nearly 75 years. With its long drive, bordered by stone walls, its setting on a knoll with spectacular views of the White Mountains, its rugged landscaping inspired by the Olmsted Brothers, and its graceful colonial revival design, Adair is pleasing to the eye and worthy of a painting
While Adair's rich history is closely linked with the legal profession, today it proudly hosts guests from around the world who seek warm hospitality, comfortably elegant surroundings, fine food, and personalized attention in an informal, rural setting. As Judy and I are only the third owners of Adair, we are mindful of its past and are proud stewards of an incredibly well-built home and 200+ acres of land which serves also as a tree farm. We are focused totally on our guests' well-being and enjoyment. While we have high standards, our approach is decidedly informal as Adair is our home.
We know that guests come to Adair for many reasons. Some wish to take advantage of the many outdoor activities available in New Hampshire's White Mountains, others come for business in neighboring towns; still others come to unwind from their hectic schedules and to simply relax.
Regardless of the reason, we encourage our guests to get in touch with and enjoy each of their senses.
